Buyer wants a refund on ebay?

You are really left with no choice but to refund the buyer - do not refund until you have received the item returned to you - if they file a claim you lose your leverage for the refund time frame. They will have to pay return shipping. If they file a claim and win ebay will refund them the full cost plus the shipping they paid. As far as item not as described claims the buyer almost always wins.
