Created a prototype website, want to patent (?) and possibly sell (?)... need advice?

You can only patent it if you can prove conclusively that NOBODY has ever created a site doing the same. Of the thousands of people who have fantastic ideas to make money from sites with a totally new idea, about half a percent have anything new at all. A search for the supposed "new" function on any search engine normally returns several hundred such sites. All losing money. and patenting costs thousands.
